Homes & Garden

Homes & Garden included me in their ‘Garden Notes’ article.

It was great to be able to share how I approach designing gardens through my passion for psychology and connecting people to their outdoor spaces.

How to design a garden with children in mind - January 2023

by Tabi Jackson Gee

I enjoyed contributing to this article by Tabi Jackson Gee. I like to create children’s spaces that feel unstructured and give the child freedom to explore and be creative. Children will find their own pockets of space. We just provide the platform.

I really enjoyed writing this article ‘From my Point of View’ for the
Garden Design Journal about my visit to FutureScape.

It made me focus on the reasons I go to these events and how the way I approach them has changed over the years.

It’s such a good opportunity to meet contacts in person who I would ordinarily just talk to over the phone, email or on social media. It also gave me the chance to catch-up with great friends in the industry too.

There were some inspiring speakers there who were generously sharing their knowledge (which is great to see at a free event).
