We have designed a garden in South London that elegantly addressed a significant level change from the house to the lawn. By incorporating a series of terraced spaces, we created distinct areas for dining, relaxation, and seamless movement between levels. Thoughtfully integrated steps and planters softened the transition, while carefully chosen materials and planting enhanced the sense of flow and connection between the house and garden. The result is a dynamic yet cohesive outdoor space that balances functionality with a welcoming, layered design.
